Shinzui Shuhō - Core Bodywork
The Shinzui Shuhō Core Bodywork program integrates traditional practices from East Asian bodywork - Ampuku, Chi Nei Tsang and Shiatsu - with modern developments in Western anatomy and advances in therapeutic bodywork - Visceral Osteopathy, Fascia work, and CranioSacral therapy.
Firmly rooted in East Asian medicine, Shinzui Shuhō uses the methodology of this ancient nature-based healing tradition to treat the body, mind, and spirit. It is taught as a postgraduate training open to all bodywork practitioners.

Shinzui 真髄 is the Japanese term for essence or core and Shuhō 手法 means method or skill, with the character 手 meaning hand.
Philippe Vandenabeele AOBTA®-Certified Instructor
Drawing on over thirty years of clinical practice and international Shiatsu teaching, Philippe Vandenabeele developed the Shinzui Shuhō postgraduate program.
His courses combine his long clinical experience with continued practice and studies in manual therapy, anatomy, and his ongoing research into the roots of Shiatsu and Ampuku. Read more
